Hello Penguins! As you may know there are many Famous penguins that roam the island. These Famous penguins are special. You can receive a special background if you meet them. This is all about what they like and who they are.

Rockhopper

Rockhopper is a pirate who loves to roam the seas, go to Rockhopper island, and hang out with us his penguin friends.

That is his player card! Rockhopper loves Cream soda and his puffle Yarr too! Rockhopper discovered Red puffles at Rockhopper island, and brought them to the island in 2006.

Rockhopper Has his ship the Migrator Which is always docked at the beach when he comes. He arrives on his ship the Migrator which can be spotted in the telescope before he arrives, but is planned to arrive soon. Keep an Eye out for him by Tracking here!  Remember to swipe his background when you meet him by clicking the box on His Player Card! WHen he comes keep an eye on him!

Aunt Arctic

Aunt Arctic is the news reporter and editor-in-chief for the newspaper on Club Penguin Island, the Penguin Times. She is responsible for keeping all penguins around the island informed about the weekly news. She is such a skillful writer that she even has her own advice column, “Ask Aunt Arctic”, where she makes it her duty to answer any troubling questions her fellow penguins might have. Any penguin can submit his or her question to Aunt Arctic for a chance at publishing. She is a key character in Mission #1, in which she had lost her green and purple Puffles that needed to be returned. She owned a Purple Puffle before they were available in the Pet Shop

Gary The Gadget Guy

Gary the Gadget Guy (AKA Agent G), is Club Penguin‘s inventor and scientist and also the former owner of the Sport Shop. He likes wearing a white lab coat and his special twisted spectacles, and enjoys eating Fish Dish Pizza, and is almost always seen drinking coffee. In an issue of The Penguin Times his eyes appear like Sensei’s, but smaller and thinner. Gary also doesn’t own puffles.
In Club Penguin Times Issue 200, it was mentioned that Gary would make an appearance at the Festival of Flight 2009, and he did. Also, in the section “In Focus: A Waddle Down Memory Lane”, the quote at the top of the page was by G.

Gary’s Player Card

Gary has been making inventions since the first day of Club Penguin. Some of his inventions are around the island for use by normal penguins, like the Air Conditioner 3000, when it was storing snow for the Christmas Party!  But most inventions were put in the Gadget Room, like the Test Chamber and the Crab Translator 3000. Gary ends most of his inventions with a number like 1000, 2000 or 3000 (Mainly 3000). 1000 is the prototype and 3000 is the complete version. It is probable that his projects receive copious funding from the PSA, since Gary would be unable to afford all required components without some source of financial support. Many of Gary’s inventions have been proven as failures, such as the Ski Lift 1000, therefore suggesting that his inventing skill is not as good as he lets on.

The club penguin band is a group of penguins that love to make music.There are 4 members of the club penguin band .G Billy is blue and plays the drums.Playing the giutar is a yellow penguin named Franky.Petey K is green and plays the accordion.Red Stompin’ Bob is on the base.There are two new members in the band.The Whole Band Appear In One Of The Penguin Tales Winning Stories

Sensei

Sensei (formerly known as ?????? before the Card-Jitsu game andDojo Courtyard were released), is a penguin prophet that first appeared digging out the Dojo when the Dojo got severely damaged by lightning, claiming to have returned from “a long journey”. He used to be seen at the Dojo Exterior, but now he can be found inside the Dojo, sitting on the cushion next to the variable-color pot. He wears the color gray, which is not currently available to players. Sensei appears to be a very old Penguin. He has a small white beard, thick white eyebrows, and a traditional Chinese conical straw hat. Sensei has made many appearances in club penguin so he has had many player Cards!



He later revealed he would launch a card game for training Ninjas, known as “Card Jitsu”. His name was revealed to be “Sensei” the Japanese word for ‘teacher’, implying he is the ninja trainer. Apparently, he said that he came from far away to return, which means he has been to Club Penguin before. He presently is handing out Starter Packs in the Dojo to players training to become Ninjas. He also awards penguins colored belts for their progress in Card Jitsu. Once players get a black belt, Sensei can be challenged and if one wins, they become a true Ninja. Sensei will always win, unless you are a black belt. On July 3 to July 5, 2010, Ninjas were able to meet Sensei at theNinja Hideout, and teach them a new trick (a cloud maker). The award for finding him is an autographed background. He was also seen during Sensei’s Scavenger Hunt, teaching ninjas about the upcoming event. He also visited the Fire Dojo and Ninja Hideout on Friday November 20, 2009.

Rookie

Rookie is the public relations officer for the EPF and a novice Secret Agent. He is a green penguin always wearing a Red Propeller Cap,and a pair of Red Sunglasses.He appears in Secret Missions#3, #7, #10, and #11. Very little is known about him. His first appearance in the mission “Case of the Missing Coins” is examining the vault. Like most people who are rookies in real-life activities, Rookie makes mistakes that more experienced agents wouldn’t. He is also an Elitist. Rookie has been officially released as a mascot on Club Penguin as of March 26th 2011.
